Swissport Cargo Tracking

Swissport is a cargo handler, not an airline. Use their official AWB tool for warehouse status, and the airline tracker for the flight.

Direct Answer

Swissport cargo tracking is a handler lookup. Swissport runs cargo warehouses for many airlines. It is not Swiss WorldCargo (SWISS, prefix 724). Track the airline AWB first, then search the same number on Swissport’s official cargo portal for warehouse status.

📜 Standards: Handler AWB warehouse status

Airline AWB first

Paste the master AWB to open the airline’s official tracker. Then use the official handler link for the warehouse.

Not Swiss WorldCargo

If you searched “Swissport tracking” because the AWB belongs to SWISS, you want the airline: Swiss WorldCargo AWB tracking (prefix 724). Swissport may still handle that freight at some airports, but the flight record is on the airline.

Swissport’s public cargo portal includes an AWB search. Some warehouse functions require a customer login. If the public form is empty, your forwarder or the airline station can tell you which Swissport warehouse holds the cargo.

Official Swissport tracking

Open the handler’s own site (not a third-party aggregator):

Swissport looks up warehouse events for shipments they handle. They do not replace the airline’s track and trace for the flight.

What Swissport’s AWB search shows

Handler status is local: received in the shed, pieces, weight, and whether freight is ready for collection at that station. It will not list every upstream flight event. For those, stay on the airline tracker.

How to use both portals

  1. Copy the 11-digit airline AWB (not a house bill, unless the handler portal says it accepts one).
  2. Track the flight and station milestones on the airline page via the box above.
  3. If the airline shows arrived or received at destination, open the official Swissport link and search the same AWB for location, pieces and pickup.
  4. If Swissport has no record, the freight may be with another handler at that airport — ask the airline station or your forwarder.

More handler context: cargo handler hub. Industry-wide lookup: air cargo track and trace.

Frequently asked questions

Is Swissport an airline?

No. Swissport is a ground and cargo handler. The airline on your AWB (for example SWISS, British Airways, or another carrier Swissport serves at that airport) still owns the flight tracking record.

Why did “swissport cargo tracking” open Swiss WorldCargo?

The names are easy to mix up. Swiss WorldCargo is the airline cargo product. This page is the handler. Use the airline page for prefix 724; use Swissport for warehouse status at a Swissport station.

Does the Swissport portal need a login?

The Agent AWB Tracking screen is on Swissport’s cargo customer portal. Some stations and features require registration. If you cannot see results, ask your agent to query the AWB or use the airline tracker for flight status.
